For the final day of BBAW we’re to share a highlight of the week that we experienced thanks to BBAW!

The biggest thing that BBAW has done for me has been to rejuvenate my interest in book blogging. I was starting to feel a little burned out and stale. I was even losing interest in reading (gasp!). This whole week has been a breath of fresh air. From visiting new blogs to being exposed to new books, the whole experience has been great. It’s just a shame an event like this only happens once a year! We should do it more often. Maybe whenever I feel like I’m running low on gas? All I know is that it was a great change of pace and I’m glad it happened when it did.

Possibly the biggest highlight was finding new blogs to visit. I love connecting with new people despite the fact that I’m very shy. It helps that I’m protected by a screen and a keyboard but I still feel awkward and stilted when I meet new people and comment on new blogs. It also helps that everyone is usually so friendly and helpful.

Next would definitely be the exposure to the different books that were pimped. Although I should try to stop looking for books to add to my TBR list (500 plus!) it’s like I’m a drug addict who can’t stop and I just need one more fix, one more book to add to the list. I don’t want to miss a single good book! It’s just a good thing I don’t buy every single book I want. My bank account would be emptied in zero time flat.

In summary, first the people and then the books. Something seems wrong with that statement. Shouldn’t books come first?
