Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted byTyngaReviews.com and is a book haul post to show off everything you purchased or received for review.
Captive Queen by Alison Weir
Mockingbird by Chuck Wendig
The Lost Girl by Sangu Mandanna
Naamah’s Kiss by Jacqueline Carey
Naamah’s Blessing by Jacqueline Carey
The City’s Son by Tom Pollock
I bought Captive Queen last Saturday and read it last weekend. I’ll save my thoughts for my review. As I mentioned on Monday, I got Mockingbird and The Lost Girl on Tuesday.
Since I got Naamah’s Curse in hardcover I thought I’d get the rest of the series in hardcover as well. Naamah’s Kiss and Naamah’s Blessing came on Monday. I’m looking forward to reading them. I enjoy reading paper books just as much as I enjoy reading from my Kindle. It’s just that I don’t have the space to keep paperbacks and hardcovers like I do digital copies. Since I really like to hold on to my books to reread, digital copies make more sense.
The City’s Son is a new release and is a YA urban fantasy. I can’t remember how I found it, but it looks good. There’s a goddess and a crown prince. It sounds like a really fun adventure!
That’s all I got this week. I’ve really cut down on my book intake. I’m trying to slim down. My TBR list is so huge!
